Strolled our new old neighborhood, up and down hills, trees

The foliage around here is about half-green, and about a quarter of the branches are barren already. The remaining quarter stands out in a bright blend of oranges, reds and yellows.
A key personal goal now is walking for health and fitness every day, at least once. The traffic is really sparse, so strolling or striding is almost stress-free.
The Tortoise Cat often ran up trees as we ambled along this morning, up and down streets, lanes and trails in this hilly, wooded neighborhood -- we had fun with today's ups and downs.
Another goal is picking up my writing pace gradually, but significantly. Unwinding from the stresses of city life and winding up my energy for value-adding production go together.
The work I am contracted to do here is fun or practical or both -- tasks that go easy that others often find tedious. Doing work, whether simple or complex, that brings noticeable improvements soon is refreshing and encouraging.
