Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted in his post that his quarterback Peyton Manning will not play in the season opener versus the Houston Texans de to a neck injury which according to Jason Whitlock Peyton suffered last season and did not seek surgery to correct the problem until this year. Whitlock wrote in his column that if Peyton had told them of his injury the Colts would have drafted a quarterback from the NFL draft or would have gotten another quarterback in free agency.
How long will the injury keep Peyton off the field is anybody's guess. Colts fans hope Peyton heals fast or it will worse for them than WordGirl forgetting the meaning of words due to Lexiconite that is the equal of Superman getting Kryptonite or a red sun. They would be up a creek with no oars to row with. Good luck Colts fans with Kerry Collins as the quarterback as this time.
