Oct 23-Third Party Debate News
As reported by Free And Equal, the Nader Campaign, And the Constitution Party
Other relevant sites to visit are:

As reported, ALL candidates have been invited, and one must ask about the absence of the “main candidates” in a system that a) considers itself a ‘democracy’, b) has the mainstream media not report this event whatsoever, and c) fails to report on the reason that voter turnout, in the most basic understanding of math, ignores the essential majority that has no faith in the system at all to even bother registering a ballot. It’s not rocket science –in fact, it’s a cry from the people for something else. And a suspicious thing when 2 parties control access to information…

FROM THE CONSTITUTION PARTY
(note: to hear our extensive interview w/ Chuck Baldwin CLICK HERE)
We have very exciting news!!!
Chuck Baldwin will have an opportunity to share his views in a debate scheduled for Thursday, October 23, at 9:00 PM ET in Washington DC.
C-SPAN will cover the debate. We’ll keep you posted on whether or not they will carry it live.
Baldwin, along with other third party candidates will show voters they don’t have to settle for the socialist policies of Obama or McCain. Chuck will detail his vision for a return to Constitutional government in a 90 minute forum that promises more substance than the sham dog and pony shows we’ve seen in the last two presidential debates between OCain and McBama!
Go here to support the Constitution Party’s final campaign push to get the word out directly to the American people to vote for Chuck Baldwin and other Constitution Party candidates running all across the country!!
This was the press release on the debate:
WASHINGTON, DC- Rep. Ron Paul’s (R-TX) choice for President is among those invited to a debate for all presidential candidates on Thursday, October 23, in Washington, D.C.
Constitution Party presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin ( www.Baldwin08.com) will join other third party candidates at the 90-minute forum, which is being sponsored by The Free and Equal Elections Coalition ( www.freeandequal.org).
The Third Party Presidential Candidates Debate will be held at 9 p.m. (EST) at the Mayflower Hotel, 1127 Connecticut Ave., NW, in Washington, D.C.
A total of six presidential candidates who are on enough state ballots to be eligible to win the election have been invited to participate.
The recent endorsement of CP candidate Chuck Baldwin by former GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul has directed many of Paul’s supporters to Baldwin. See Ron Paul’s endorsement of Baldwin at http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog.php?view=547 .
The 90-minute debate will focus on the issues that distinguish Chuck Baldwin from the major and minor party presidential candidates in the race: opposition to the so-called ‘bail-outs’, opposition to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, support for secure borders, the overturning of Roe v Wade, and a return to limited, Constitutional government.
In addition to Baldwin, the other invited candidates are Republican Party nominee John McCain, Democratic Party nominee Barack Obama, Independent Ralph Nader, the Green Party’s Cynthia McKinney, and the Libertarian Party’s Bob Barr.

Let the debate begin!
The third party and independent candidates for President will duke it out tomorrow night.
At the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. at 9 p.m. EST.
And it will be shown live on C-Span.
Ralph Nader will be there.
Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin will be there.
We’ve been told that Green Party candidate Cynthia McKinney and Libertarian Party candidate Bob Barr have been invited but haven’t committed to attend yet.
If you are in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, please come on down to the Mayflower Hotel (1127 Connecticut Avenue NW — Farragut North Metro Stop on the Red Line) and catch an historic event — a Presidential debate that includes Ralph Nader.
If you are not in the the DC area, hope you get a chance to watch it live on C-Span.
If you get a chance, organize a debate party and watch with friends, family and neighbors.
Should be a lot of fun.
And Ralph will have a chance to lay out before a national television audience the Nader/Gonzalez people-powered platform that Obama and McCain and the national media ignored during the three Anheuser-Busch sponsored parallel interviews (aka The Presidential Debates.)
Onward to November.
The Nader Team
