I am once again performing at the Toronto Geek Poetry Slam, going down July 7 at The Boat in Kensington Market (158 Augusta Ave). This spoken word competition only allows poetry relating to geek topics, whether that's video games or knitting or Ray Bradbury books or Facebook or whatever.
Featuring is the very geeky Mike Bryant from Toronto.
Cover is $5.
Best to get there around 730pm. Show will start around 8.
It's hosted by Toronto Poetry Project, which puts on the monthly Toronto Poetry Slam. I'm the artistic director of TPP, in case anyone was curious about my other obsession (apart from DJ).
Here's the Facebook invite. Feel free to spread the word to any poetry and/or geek fans you know!
