Shane Koyczan's new poem on Canada's Conservatives, 'Wasted Vote'

Poetry as activism? Why not? The poet has long been regarded as a bullhorn for social change, and today is no different. British Columbian poet Shane Koyczan (he performed at the Opening Ceremonies at the Winter Olympics) delivers this well-written piece about Stephen Harper's Conservative Party in Canada, days before Canadians head to the polls on May 2.
It's a simple video called Wasted Vote, just Harper and his wife at a piano with a child, and there's some Inception-like music hovering in the background.
What do you think of the poem, of its message? Have you heard of Koyczan's other works?
