Unemployed at 54

Well, I just lost my day job today. I am a little upset but I got a good severance package...well, not that great but it'll do for now. It is going to be hard for a woman my age to find a good new job, and one with the benefits I need. Luckily, I can fall back on my writing. Of course, I currently do not make enough to replace my full-time earnings. But I am going to try very hard in the next few weeks to get clients and to basically write my butt off.
