A Brag Post About KJ — Deserving Colleague

Friends, Some folks in journalism find the competition the fun part. The old-timers, however, in newsrooms worked competitively against other newspapers and media outlets, but not within a working group. KJ works like the old-timers in that regard. She is a seat-of-the-pants journalist. Some get at it through education and training, like this old-timer writing here. Others learn by doing and by working hard and learning. KJ is one of those, and in her work and her sharing of herself an example for others. I learn from KJ all the time. She is a resource for website locations and other references, which are invaluable. She shares her time and resources with others. Whatever awards and accolades she gets, are small in comparison to what she deserves. Her good deeds, I felt, were worthy of a separate blog by a colleague who finds her friendship and support helpful, considerate and an example in the industry. Carol
