A Taliban suicide bomber targeted a minibus carrying Afghan spy agency staff in western part of the city on Wednesday January 12, killing at least two people and wounding 20 others, Kabul police said.
The bombing was very powerful and shattered the windows of nearby shops and houses. Police said two of the dead were Afghan civilians while several spy agency staff were wounded in the blast. Afghan police cordoned off the area.
This was the first suicide attack in Kabul in 2011. Last December twin suicide bombing killed at least five Afghan army soldiers in Afghan capital.
