This has to be the weirdest and sickest story I've read in a long time. It's just a newsflash on Figaro so I translated it.
"Police have announced that an Iraqi man killed his adolescent daughter after he learned that she wished to carry out a suicide bombing attack for Al-Qaida.
Police said that security forces raided the home of Najim Abd al Anbaky in Mandili, 100km northeast of Baghdad, looking for his daughter Shala who had been suspected of links to Al-Qaida.
They arrested the father instead after he admitted killing her and burying her body near the family home. Commander and spokesman of Diyala province Ghalib al Djoubouri declared that al Anbaky admitted having killed her after finding out she worked for Al-Quaida and that she wanted to become a suicide bomber."
To be perfectly honest I didn't know whether to laugh at the absurdity of what he did or be glad that he killed her, that which may well have saved many lives.
Either way, that story is as weird and sick as they come.
