article imageNobel Prize genius Crick was high on LSD when he discovered the structure of DNA?

By hthth     Jan 24, 2007 in Technology
FRANCIS CRICK, the Nobel Prize-winning father of modern genetics, was supposedly under the influence of LSD when he first deduced the double-helix structure of DNA nearly 50 years ago.
The scientists of yesteryear have often been associated with drug use; these news shouldn't make anyone think any lesser of Crick or the double-helix (obviously). And keep in mind that this is something that really can't be proven.
