70% of the people who have a guest room use it for...storage space!
60% of us have guest rooms, and of that, almost 70% are used for storage!
Canoe.ca has tips for keeping your guest room for you guests, while maximizing your storage space.
Make sure you set a budget, think ahead about where you're going to relocate the stuff that's currently taking up space in the guest room, and maximize the existing space. If you're currently using it as a home office, take out everything you don't need, and add in a wall bed, which can fold up when nobody is using it.
Maximize the space by only leaving what's really important -- a bed and a nightstand at the very least, a chair and a dresser if there's the space for it.
And don't forget to take your guest room for a test drive! If you're comfortable there, chances are that your company will be too.
