By Brandigal (Donna)     Jan 19, 2007 in Crime
A motorist called 911 on a cellphone to report a woman being assaulted and hanging out the window of a pickup truck on a road.
Police said she kicked the window out of the truck and was trying to climb out of it when the motorist seen it and called 911. The truck was driving at high speeds.
The husband finally stopped the truck in a store parking lot and the lady fell out of the truck.
One officer took the woman to the station while others chased the truck through a residential neighbourhood with two schools.
A police car was used to force the truck into a ditch. No one was hurt but police said could have been a lot worse.
He will face charges of forcible confinement, uttering death threats, dangerous driving and flight from police.
The lady was treated by paramedics at the police station for bruising and leg injuries.
