In Philadelphia, a criminal defense lawyer has been arrested after he was found naked with a 14-year-old girl in a courthouse conference room.
The criminal defense attorney found with the girl is 49-year-old Larry Charles. He has been charged with solicitation, attempted statuatory sexual assault and other related accounts.
Charles was discovered with the girl as a sheriff's deputy was walking around the Criminal Justice Center on Monday and happened to look in a lawyers' conference room on the third floor. There he discovered Charles, naked, with the 14-year-old.
"He had asked for sex. But there was no physical contact we're aware of by the time the deputy arrived at the scene", Lt. Bagnell of the SVU said.
Bail has not yet been set for Larry Charles, and there has been no comment from him or any representative of his.
It is unclear how Charles met the girl-- she is not a client of his-- and it's also unclear how the two got into the conference room on Monday, as courts were closed for MLKJ day.
Not only is this guy a pervert, but he's also an idiot. Did he want to get caught? Why else would he do it in the courtroom? Hopefully he won't get bail, hate to think of all the other young teenage girls he might solicit.
