By Critical_Conformity     Jan 17, 2007 in World
Following complaints from the family that it wasn't doing enough. The Canadian government is now speaking up about the death of a Woodbridge teen who was visiting Mexico
Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister Peter MacKay has talked with both Carmalita De Prisco, the mother of slain 19-year-old Adam De Prisco, and his Mexican counterpart.
MacKay urged Mexican officials to conduct a full investigation into De Prisco's death. Speaking with the victim's mother, he promised that his department would closely follow any developments in the case.
But Carmalita De Prisco said none of her questions were answered in her conversation with the federal minister.
On the day Adam was to have returned from Mexico, his funeral will be held in Woodbridge Ontario.
