Reports from Tehran say that Iranian troops have shot down a US automated Spy Drone.
An Iranian legislator has announced that the Islamic 'republic' of Iran has shot down a spy plane after increased 'military pressure' in the area.
Apparently, the drone was brought down a couple days ago as it was crossing the border between Iran and Iraq. According to a local news agency, troops shot it down after spotting it just barely across the border.
While there are still no specifics on the exact date of the take-down, the law maker did go on to say that the spy drones were a normal occurrence and knew of several such drones that had been going in and out of the area that holds the border of Iraq and Iran.
This incident comes after increased tension between the two nations, and a hesitant White House has dodged several questions of what type of actions it would take against Iran in the future...saying that they would try diplomacy and would not rule out military force.
