Widow says Irwin death tape destroyed

By Sheba     Jan 11, 2007 in World
After the authorities were done with the tape it was returned to Steve's wife. Seeing it was no longer needed for the investigation, it was destroyed.
All footage of "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin's death has been destroyed, his widow said. Terri Irwin told TV's "Access Hollywood" in an interview airing this week that the tape was destroyed when it was no longer needed for the investigation into his death.
She made a wise move because if any copies of this tape were made it would be just a matter of time before it made its way into the wrong hands. Nothing is sacred anymore. So to make sure it never gets out she has destoryed the only tape that was made. Now that is laying the man's death to rest.
A completed, "Ocean's Deadliest," the show Steve was working on when he died, will be screened in the U.S. on January, 21, minus the footage from that fateful day.
