PETA's at it again with its campain ""
I was surfing the net and was reading up on PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). Well let me first go ahead and say that I Love Animals......... They are tasty. Chicken is my favorite food.
I found that PETA is doing a campaign against Kentucky Fried Chicken called "Kentucky Fried Cruelty". They boast about the celebrities that are supporting them such as hit bands as Fallout Boy and the Deftones. Pam Anderson also did a video on the cruelty that the chickens go through before they get to the stores. My question is.... do these celebs really have a passion for PETA's values (all of them) or are they just in it because everybody seems to be doing ads and helping out PETA?
In my opinion, God many of the animals on the earth as a food source.
Another interesting piece I found on PETA's website was this question followed by an answer
“Where does the animal rights movement stand on abortion?”
"There are people on both sides of the abortion issue in the animal rights movement, just as there are people on both sides of animal rights issues in the pro-life movement. And just as the pro-life movement has no official position on animal rights, the animal rights movement has no official position on abortion."
Sounds like they have no opinion or their members are split on killing a baby, but you kill a chicken to eat because you are hungry their on you like white on rice. :/ Aren't humans more important than animals? When did animals come to the level of humans??
