We have seen the pictures of PS3 at Eb Games and Best Buy that don't have owners yet. But it appears that the PS3 launch was more successful than we were expecting.
It seems that Sony has indeed beefed up production on the PS3 and that those left over PS3 are nothing to be concerned about. It infact beat the PS2 launch, which is the highest selling console to date. So the future may be bright for the PS3 overall.
But then again Wii has sold an estimated 4 Million in the same time, while 360 sold 600,000 and PS3 at 1 Million. But remember that Wii has already been released in their major markets, while the PS3 has only launched in North America and Japan. The European release should bring in more PS3 sales.
So is this the end of the shortage, Sony hopes it is.
