HP Australia creates an ad to generate recycling awareness of old printers.
This campaign from HP Australia is meant to target everyone who just bought (or is going to buy) a new printer. Even though the company had its fair share of bad publicity and lousy ad campaigns last year, I’m quite fond of the way they communicate the very simple message with humorous images. Even I have broken stuff stacked away on the attic of which I know I’ll never use it again because the drivers aren’t working or it just became too old and lost its compatibility somewhere between Windows 95 and Windows XP.
This ad was generated by Hewlett Packard, Australia to create an awareness of recycling printers. I think they did a terrific job. Here are few more pics from the same ad:
We have a recycling center nearby we have to drive to deposit old printers, cartridges, but is a worth while trip rather than dumping it in trash. Here is a link, where HP sends free postage paid packs to send your recycled printer or computer parts, and they have this in a number of countries. My neighbor dumps old computers in Trash, I have told them a few times they don't listen. Recycling is not hard, now more and more centers are coming up to pick up all these stuff for free.
