Mike McKenzie was rear-ended in a four-car wreck on Wednesday, Jan 3rd in the afternoon.
McKenzie's car suffered extensive damage, but he was able to get out and walk around after the accident occured. He's been transported to a hospital for observation at this time.
There's no word at this time as to whether or not anyone else had been injured during the accident.
The Saints are currently scheduled to go into the play-offs after having suffered a defeat to the Carolina Pathers this past weekend.
