Patrons of a Northwest Side massage parlor may have had their visits with prostitutes broadcast over the Internet, police said.
In a raid on the 'Salon and Day Spa' police seized a tremendous amount of sophisticated computer technology--believed to be used to broadcast sex acts onto the internet.
The policemen found several tiny cameras mounted in ceilings in several of the rooms at the VIP Salon and Day Spa.
The Spa--known as a local brothel and neighborhood nuisance--expanded beyond "just prostitution" by broadcasting the acts over the internet without the peoples' permission. "This is kind of unchartered territory" said a police Lieutenant.
The business has been raided 7 or 8 times in the last 18 months after complaints the neighborhood came pouring in. The landlord has filed a lawsuit to evict the business owner..
With the help of this new evidence, hopefully the police can take this sicko down and get this whorehouse out of an otherwise respectable neighborhood.
