"Prosecutors dropped rape charges Friday against three Duke University lacrosse players accused of attacking a stripper at a team party, but the three still face kidnapping and sexual offense charges."
"It's highly coincidental," Cheshire said, that the charges are being dropped a week after the director of a private DNA testing lab acknowledged that he initially, with Nifong's knowledge, withheld from the defense test results showing none of the players' DNA was found on or in the accuser's body."
Something must have happened at that party to upset the girl. She may have come forward about the incident, but it seems especially with the DNA results that the 3 charged kids are innocent. Now Im sure these kids did something to mess the with girl, but now their lives are pretty much ruined because of this case regardless of the fact they are innocent. Cases like this happen all the time where people are falsly convicted, though their careers and lives are ruined in the process. What happened to innocent until proven guilty?
