Plans to clean it up are stymied as fears grow the massive load of mercury in the sub will leak. Good reminder of how long the effects of war last.
Leaks have started already. Fishing in the area is banned. The study alone has cost $6.5 Million (euros I guess...which is approx $13 to 14 million usd-cdn.
