US Forces seize Al Qaeda Leader in Iraq

By Carolyn E. Price     Dec 20, 2006 in World
U.S. forces have captured a senior al Qaeda in Iraq who is accused of masterminding the killing of hundreds of Iraqi civilians, including women and children.
A terrorist leader, and five other suspects, were capture on December 14 in Mosul at a known terrorist meeting place. He was trying to run away when capture by coalition forces. They say the accused is "personally responsible for hundreds of civilian deaths, including women and children. He housed foreign fighters to be used in suicide bombing attacks against the Coalition and the Iraqi people."
Not a nice person, but it is always good to hear when they get one of the bad guys.
