A 3-month-old baby was left unattended in a shopping cart for about an hour Sunday when her parents accidentally left her behind.
You know that shopping is becoming too big a part of your Christmas experience when you forget your children. Police are saying it was a family misunderstanding and not child abandonment but I say that's no excuse.
"It was a misunderstanding among family members," Grimaldo said in Monday editions of the Midland Reporter-Telegram. "One man took the kids home and left the ladies to shop. But when he took the kids, he didn't take the baby from the cart."
I think maybe they need to communicate better. Losing a baby for an hour is unforgivable. They'd better be happy it wasn't some psycho who found her.
