House of 'Exotic' Filth: Over 100 Animals Seized From NY Teen's Home

By ccmd00d     Dec 12, 2006 in Lifestyle
"Over 100 animals were seized from a Westchester County home in an apparent case of animal hoarding by a 17-year-old wildlife rehabilitator."
"SPCA agents responded to a home in Pound Ridge on a suspected case of animal abuse, and found an assortment of animals living in filthy conditions. Most of the animals had been neglected sufficient food and water. The owner of the home had been renting space out to the teen to take care of the animals, but had no idea that they were not being properly taken care of."
There have been a handful of cases like this in the news lately, I believe I posted two before. It seems like this teen originally meaned well, but obviously could not take care of all the animals, therefore their bad condition.
It seems that these animal lovers do not understand how much they can take when trying to help the animals and in the end are just hurting them.
