Search Audio and Video files with Pluggd "HearHere" innovative technology.
If you haven’t played with Pluggd, you should. It provides that “wow” experience, giving you what you intuitively want when searching video: a way to skip forward to the exact part of the audio or video file you are looking for. We’ll be hearing more about Pluggd next year, as it begins to cut partnership deals with major publishers, and comes out of the testing phase it launched two months ago.
Pluggd, is a good search tool for Podcasts all over the world, Google does it also for podcasts, but Pluggd is much more detailed search program. They added another search feature "HearHere" which separates them from other search engines. Suppose there is a long audio or video broadcast, you are looking for content related to your team, say "Marlins" and you don't have time to browse the entire broadcast then this "HearHere" will be the one for you. With this feature, you type in Marlins as shown in the picture, Pluggd takes you to the exact portion (with those colored line bands) where they start discussing about Marlins. We don't use this much now, but I am sure we will be using more of this search for audio and video content files.
