An elderly man took down two robbers trying to hold up a Walgreens on Saturday night.
Orlando police said the two suspects walked around the pharmacy on North Lane and picked up a few items before taking them to the clerk for a price check. Investigators said one of the suspects pulled out a gun and demanded cash.

Former Marine Emmitt Helmly, 69, was standing behind the would be robbers when he realized the gun was just a toy and sprung into action.

Officers were still looking for the suspects, who took off empty-handed.

Newsflash: Not that smart to try to rob a store with a fake gun.. lol.. especially when an ex-Marine is in the vicinity.
