48-year-old George C. Dalmas III, a CIA employee for nearly 20 years until recently, has pleaded guilty to multiple burglaries to homes near the spy agency's headquarters.
Dalmas was caught after two residents discovered him in their house during one of his daylight robberies.
Dalmas never tried to pawn any of his loot which included Cartier hoop earrings, a Tiffany gold scarab ring, a sapphire-diamond necklace and 1074 pairs of panties which, according to an assistant Commonwealth Attorney, ranged from frilly to mundane.
