Quad FX and Core 2 Extreme
Intel Core 2 Extreme -- two dual-core processors in a single socket
AMD Quad FX -- two dual-core processors placed in two separate sockets
Although there are no games right now to take advantage of quad-core, this new processors will allow
gamers to do more stuff while playing : burn DVDs, encode videos and so on without any loss on performance.
