An 8-year-old Peruvian girl who was molested by her adolescent cousin is about to give birth.

The little girl was violated in a city in the Andes, but has been transported to Lima so that she will have better medical and psychological care. Can you imagine? The youngest girl in the world to ever have given birth (at age 5) was also from Peru, although they never figured out who the father was, as far as I know. It is astounding to me to imagine an 8-year-old girl being pregnant. I have no idea what she must be feeling.
