Next time you want to check the score or team/player statistics, don't look at the scoreboard, look at the players' jerseys.
Australian researcher, Mitchell Page, came up with the concept of the TeamAwear jersey. Designed to light up whenever a player scores or incurs a foul, it also had an unexpected benefit on players' psyche when they tested the jersey out.

Personally I don't know if I want to see a bunch of players out on the court or field lit up like a Christmas tree.

    That's a pretty cool idea. But then again would the players be comfortable wearing some light up jerseys.

    It's a good idea overall coaching wise since coaches can quickly choose who to substitute.

    I'd find it really annoying watching a game if the players kept flashing.
