There are some major changes coming to Ontario's legal aid, there will be a funding cap of $75 thousand for any cases involving one person.
Lawyers will have to go to the Attorney General if the cost goes above that amount. Legal Aid says the huge trial costs are draining the public purse.
Sandberg says there is no lack of money in hiring more police, prosecutors and appointing more judges, but the imbalance comes on the other side.
