By buying a lot more lotto tickets then the average consumer, retailers have managed to rack up 96.8-million in prize money between January, 2000, and June, 2006, according to internal lottery corporation data.
This constitutes a total of 674 instant-win scratch tickets with jackpots of $50,000.
Of the major instant-win prizes, 65 tickets, or nearly 10 per cent of the jackpots, were claimed by lottery insiders for a total of $10.7-million during the past six years.
Kinda makes you think twice about your odds of wining, doesn't it.
