Canonical Ltd, today announced it has scooped two awards for Ubuntu, 'Most User-Friendly Linux Distribution'/'Best Linux/Open Source Distribution' and Canonical picked up the 'Best combination of Community and Commerce' award.

The 'Best combination of Community and Commerce' award highlights the commitment and drive of our community to collaborate effectively, and everyone who has contributed to Ubuntu deserves it. I am positive this accolade will continue to inspire and encourage an already inspired community of contributors" said Jono Bacon, Community Leader for Ubuntu.
A lot of my friends are switching to Ubuntu now and I'm amazed with what they're doing with it. Especially with the beryl and XGL stuff. It's truly amazing and quite tempting.
