Not surprising about the protests, although I am surprised at how Vietnam welcomed him... especially after what's happened in the 60's (although obviously, there's been some things happening since to quell that tension).
This article is actually a huge crash course in Far East politics, a lot of which I didn't know at all... interesting how Vietnam is the Far East's fastest growing economy - I thought that would have been China...
