Wow. It's hard to even begin to grasp what a screw-up Afghanistan has been since the start of the war on terror - first the carpet bombings, then the quick withdrawl, and now the poorly-organized reconstruction effort leading to MORE insurgents than before. Considering everyone's interest is being diverted to Iraq and Iran, it's a shame that more isn't being done in Afghanistan to stop what could potentially become a larger problem (at least to the Western world).
Ridiculous.
