It has taken six years, hundreds of Japan’s best brains and untold millions to develop, but the much hyped and delayed PlayStation 3 finally launches next week with Sony’s future riding on it.
Sony was forced to delay the global launch of the PS3 by about six months until this November due to problems with the high-definition DVD player, giving the Xbox 360 a one-year head-start.
