"No console maker has ever dominated three consecutive platform generations. Will Sony pull it off? We think so. Here's why the PlayStation 3 will assume the PS2's throne in the next few years."
I don't know if I agree totally with everything in this article, but there are many points that the author gets bang-on.
For all it's downfalls (especially recently), Sony has done something right and has been able to dominate the video game industry with the PlayStation.
And despite negative feedback, bad press and all the problems with manufacturing, this story's author believes Sony is going to still be crowned king.
These are five reasons why the Sony PlayStation 3 will win the next-gen console race:
1 - The Brand
2 - Microsoft (somewhat) Squandered its Lead
3 - Japan is Ripe for the Taking
4 - Blu-ray Will Matter
5 - Free Online
Check out the link above for a VERY detailed explanation of each.
What do you think? Even if you are a supporter of Wii or Xbox 360, can you argue with these points?
