This is a really cool video where a prof from MIT shows how a computer can recognize simple line drawings on a whiteboard. The computer can process it to make it animate with real-life gravity, springs and movement.
This doesn't sound very exciting to watch, but I was blown away. Very interesting.

The concept of interactive whiteboards is not new news... I've had a SmartBoard for about 6 years now. Basically, its a really big TabletPC. This demonstration is more about the software than the hardware. With the growing popularity of tablet PCs, this kind of interactive software will continue to become much more interesting.

Very cool, however, you would think that as an MIT professor he would have gotten the marbles in the cup the first time ;)

what do you mean? this is a clear example of how we can make the next generation SMARTER, by using this method in teaching many students who could not understand key concepts now can because there is a real example of it available.
