Cape Town - Archbishop Desmond Tutu's Cape Town home was robbed while he was away at the Nelson Mandela memorial service, police said Wednesday.
South African police said the robbery happened Tuesday between 7 and 9 p.m., PBS reports. No other details have been given and no arrests have been made.
Tutu was away speaking at the Mandela Memorial, The AP reports.
He was a close friend of Nelson Mandela, who died Thursday December 5.
"We promise God we are going to follow the example of Nelson Mandela," Tutu said at Tuesday's memorial service according to PBS.
His home was also robbed in August.
