article imageBoy with terminal disease gets wish to play in snow

By Owen Weldon     Dec 9, 2013 in World
A British 3-year-old boy with a terminal disease had a wish to see snow. His mother, as well as some of her friends and volunteers, made it happen.
According to NewsOK, Mason Williams was born with hypoplastic left-heart syndrome, and he needs to have surgery, but he is not well enough to go through with it. He also has chromosomal disorder, and due to it he is unable to speak.
His mother Melodie wanted to grant one of her son's wishes, so she started on a mission to turn her front garden into a winter wonderland, according to Yahoo. However, there was no snow, so Melodie, who lives in Rowley Rigis, and a few local businesses brought in 105 gallons of snow to surprise Mason.
According to Daily Mail, Melodie said that she had to do something just in case he was not alive for the next time it snowed out.
Melodie said that she was grateful for everyone who helped her and her son, and that she felt very lucky. She also said that when her son woke up and stepped foot outside, he was shocked. She said he laughed and giggled as he touched the snow, and she knew he was loving it.
Snowbusiness and his local Asda store were some of the firms that helped grant Mason's wish.
