Eric Decker was the big man on offense for Denver, catching eight balls for 174 yards and four touchdowns. Quarterback Peyton Manning had another outstanding game, completing 22 of 35 passes for 403 yards and five touchdowns.
Kansas City looked good early, opening a 21-7 lead, but a score just before the half cut the deficit to 21-14 and the
Broncos turned that into some positive momentum in the second half to earn the win.
The Chiefs did have an opportunity for a touchdown in the final minute, but quarterback Alex Smith missed the connection with Dwayne Bowe in the end zone, dropping Kansas City to 9-3 and looking for answers after starting the 2013
NFL season with nine straight wins.
Smith finished the football game with 294 yards passing and two touchdowns, but just like the game two weeks ago, Kansas City didn't have an answer on defense for the high powered Denver offense.
