Los Angeles - Indiana continues to show the rest of the NBA that it is the top team in the league. The Pacers won again on Sunday as they help off the LA Clippers and improved to 16-1 with a 105-100 victory at the Staples Center.
Paul George is earning every dollar from his new contract this season as the forward had a game high 27 points, to go along with his six rebounds and five assists.
Four of the five starters for Indiana scored eleven points or more in the road win, including 24 points and a team high 12 rebounds from David West.
The LA Clippers were playing their first game since losing shooting guard J.J. Redick with a broken hand and it showed as they made just four shots from three point land, but they were also out rebounded 50-41 and that led to the loss and Los Angeles dropping to 12-6.
Jamal Crawford came off the bench to lead the Clippers in scoring with 20 points, but the shooting guard made just 6 of 19 shots from the floor in his increased role. Chris Paul added 17 points and ten assists, but he also struggled with his shooting, making just 6 of 15 shot attempts.
