Naked activists protest fur use in Barcelona

By Owen Weldon     Dec 1, 2013 in World
Barcelona - On Sunday protesters gathered in Barcelona to shed their clothes to raise awareness against the killing of animals for their skin.
According to Daily Bhaskar, The group AnimaNaturalis organised the protest, and their activism is geared towards animal liberation.
According to Trust, The activists were covered in fake blood, piled up at Sant Jaume square. Some of the protesters were inside a large cage.
There were about 50 activists. The number 50 represents the number of animals it takes to make a fur coat.
According to the group, millions of otters, lynxes, minks, foxes and other species are raised in captivity, or they are captured, and then they are killed in brutal ways, such as drowning in order to make fur coats.
