By Anne Sewell     Dec 1, 2013 in World
Omsk - When a bus caught fire Omsk, Siberia, the driver and his passengers barely made it out alive, but the bus then kept on rolling down the road, completely ablaze, until it hit a fence.
It happened late on Friday evening, apparently near the local mayor's office.
The bus was traveling on route 109 in Omsk, Siberia when the fire started. Before the fire could spread, the driver managed to drop off his 30 passengers at a nearby bus stop, and evacuated the bus himself.
In the video you can see the bus, now completely ablaze, carrying on down the street, ending up by crashing into the fence of a park.
No casualties were reported and by the time fire fighters arrived, the bus was completely burned out.
It is not yet sure what caused the fire, but it is thought that it could have been a short circuit in the engine. Apparently the driver has been suspended from the route, with a special commission appointed to establish the reason for the accident.
