Longmont - Police arrested a woman in her home Wednesday night after discovering she was offering haircuts without having a barbering and cosmetology license. The woman gave haircuts to men while topless.
The Associated Press (via Yahoo! News) reports that Suzette Hall, 46, advertised topless haircuts online for $45.
The AP also states that Hall managed to set up a shop in Loveland and offered services under the name "Rebel Barber."
According to the Denver Post, police arrested Hall and will likely charge her with a felony for doing business without a license. Colorado law states that such an offense is considered a felony criminal act.
Hall was also reportedly under investigation for some bounced checks she had written to pay a chair rental at another salon and also had a brush with the law back in 2008 for working as a hairdresser without the proper credentials.
Hall's former business partner also contacted police to report Hall for ethical reasons.
Hall is currently being held on a $25,000 bond.
Offering topless haircuts is nothing new. Orange News reports of a barbershop in Brisbane, Australia, that offers topless haircuts, eyebrow waxing and professional shaving services to men.
