By Owen Weldon     Nov 29, 2013 in Crime
On Thursday a police officer responded to a call of alleged shoplifting at a Chicago store. The officer shot the driver of a car that was dragging another cop.
According to NY Post, authorities say that this was just one of several reports ahead of Black Friday, which follows Thanksgiving in the United States.
According to WND, In the Chicago case a police officer shot the driver sometime after 10 p.m. after receiving a call about two people allegedly shoplifting at a Kohl's store. When police showed up at the store, the suspects fled from the store and got into a vehicle. An officer struggled to get one of the suspects out, and the vehicle started to move, dragging the officer for quite some distance.
Eventually the driver was shot, and three arrests were made. Nobody suffered any serious injuries.
More Black Friday chaos throughout the country was captured on video, such as a fight that erupted at a Walmart.
Over in California a San Bernardino cop ended up getting hurt after breaking up one of three fights at a Walmart.
Also, at another Walmart location in Virginia, a 35-year-old man was stabbed in the arm, which left him with a wound that cut down to the bone.
