Toronto - The disgraced and crack cocaine-using Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has plenty to be ashamed about but on the contrary he claims that he is "loving this," referring to the media attention he continues to receive.
Canadian politics has been dominated by the shenanigans of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford for the last few weeks and the media frenzy refuses to go away. With allegations of bullying and crack cocaine use levied against him Ford is rarely out of the headlines these days. Politicians in Toronto have made moves to curtail Ford but his popularity with some of the electorate has soared.
Ford, 44, has resisted calls for him to step down as Mayor.
Jesse Waters, for Fox News, tracked down the Toronto Mayor, who plans on running for re-election despite his erratic behavior and bad press but in an interview the Mayor was unapologetic.
Fox News reports that Ford was unrepentant about his past drinking and extreme behavior during an interview for "The O’Reilly Factor".
People around the world have watched Ford apparently unravel during the last few weeks but according to the larger-than-life Mayor he is having a ball:
“Are you having fun right now?,” Fox correspondent Jesse Waters asked.
“I’m loving it,” the mayor replied.
“You’re liking this?” Waters asked.
“I’m loving it. My record speaks for itself. I apologized for my mistakes; I’m only human. I can’t change the past — what it is, it is,” Ford replied.
Ford went on to admit partying on a regular basis, as long as the next day was free of major events. The man still maintains that he does not see his previous behavior as a problem.
His interview comes hot on the heels of news that Ford's chief of staff saying the Mayor would not be doing any more media interviews for a while. Seems someone forget to tell Mayor Ford.

The Mayor now believes the media frenzy is part of an "elaborate conspiracy to take him down". Certainly the Internet has a huge selection of articles, images and videos of Ford, most showing him in a bad light.
Ford even seems proud though of the extreme media attention saying: “This is the biggest coup that you’ve ever seen in North America”.
