article imageReview: Katy Perry releases glamorous music video for 'Unconditionally' Special

By Markos Papadatos     Nov 23, 2013 in Entertainment
Pop superstar Katy Perry released the music video for her latest single "Unconditionally," from her newest studio album "Prism."
Perry co-wrote the song with Dr. Luke, Max Martin and record producer Henry Walter, who is better-known as Cirkut. This single is a highlight track on Prism.
Within a matter of three days, its video has garnered well over 6.8 million views, the majority of which are "likes." Brent Bonacorso served as director and it was produced by Thom Fennessey, Danny Lockwood and Jess Bell.
In this power ballad, Perry showcases her incredible range and ability to hit the high notes, while simultaneously targeting the hearts of her audience.
Perry looks stunning and is breathtaking beautiful in this video; moreover, she is not afraid to showcase her vulnerability as an artist and its story line is extremely moving that will certainly connect well with fans worldwide. To this day, I have yet to see her release a mediocre video and I doubt that she ever will.
Although I really loved her music video for her lead single "Roar," I think she outdoes her with "Unconditionally." The video helps convey the theme of her song better and it subsequently evokes that powerful emotion.
With its exceptional cinematography, art direction and costume design, expect Katy Perry's "Unconditionally" video to be up for many MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) next summer, including "Best Female Video" and "Video of the Year." It is too good to be ignored.
